The 2005 Western District Conference planning committee will not limit the number of sponsors for the April 8, 2005, event, nor will it grant exclusivity to any company or market segment. All sponsorship fees must be collected before April 4, 2005.

Sponsorships are at the discretion of the 2005 Western District Conference planning committee and/or the PRSA Las Vegas Valley Chapter Board and may be discontinued at any time. Sponsorships and distribution of the following materials will not be accepted:

• Purveyors of legal paraphernalia associated with illegal drugs, or for drugs other than registered pharmaceuticals;
• Religious or political organizations and candidates; or
• Products or services that use racist or sexist themes or stereotypes; or that sell sex as a product, even by implication.

Sponsorship levels and benefits for the 2005 PRSA Western District Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada are as follows. To arrange your sponsorship, contact Lori Bachand, APR.

• Presenting Sponsors -a $1,500 commitment. Presenting sponsors have the choice of underwriting a continental breakfast, one of the half-dozen scheduled break-out sessions, lunch, or the Saturday, April 9 leadership breakfast. Presenting sponsors will:

• Have the choice of selecting which event they'd like to sponsor (on a first-come, first-served basis)
• Receive national level name recognition on all promotional materials (WDC announcements will be distributed to a national PRSA audience)
• Receive a brief write-up that highlights your company or service in one of the WDC e-mail announcements
• Be able to post a banner provided by sponsor (not to exceed size determined by committee) and have a display table at the event you sponsor
• Receive one all-day conference registration

• Strategist Sponsor - a $1,000 commitment. Strategists demonstrate critical thinking and are awarded with sound public relations acclaim. As a strategic sponsors will:

• Receive national level name recognition on all promotional materials (WDC announcements will be distributed to a national PRSA audience)
• Be able to post a banner with your logo at the event (provided by sponsor and not to exceed size requirements set by committee)
• Receive five all-day conference registrations
• Receive a table for eight at the luncheon, including the five all-day registrants

• Tactical Level - a $750 commitment.Tacticians are those who implement strategies. Their rewards are many for making public relations programs come to fruition. At the Western District Conference, Tactical Level sponsors will:

• Receive name recognition on conference materials
• Receive three all-day conference registrations
• Receive four reserved seats at the luncheon, including the three all-day registrants

• Publicist Level - a $500 commitment.Publicists know how to get recognition for their client. At the Western District Conference, Publicist sponsors will:

• Receive name recognition on conference materials
• Receive two all-day conference registrations

Promotional items at the various segments of the Western District Conference are limited to sponsors and/or official PRSA materials only.

Distribution of items from various organizations may be limited to the segment the sponsor is underwriting.

Arrangements must be made with the Western District Conference planning committee in advance of the conference to display items. Items must be pre-approved for distribution.

Raffles are acceptable, provided the sponsor collect business cards only during its scheduled sponsorship timeframe. Each sponsor conducting a raffle will provide a sign explaining who is collecting the business cards and why at the raffle location.

Displays and materials will be limited to assigned areas and time slots during the conference.
